King Krule Is All About Self-Reflection in New Single "If Only It Was Warmth"
Taken from his forthcoming album, ‘Space Heavy.’
British musician King Krule has just dropped a brand-new single, the latest to come from his forthcoming album, Space Heavy, which is due to release on June 9.
Titled “If Only It Was Warmth,” King Krule’s new and stripped-back record welcomes the listeners into Krule’s diary. Performing lyrics that tell short stories of his connection with love and the pain that comes with losing touch with those closest to you, this new installment from the English singer-songwriter also follows Krule as he explores the finer details of the great outdoors.
From vast waters to prickly cacti, “If Only It Was Warmth” is about self-acceptance and mindfulness, while inspiring those who listen to connect with their inner self.
The new single also comes with some accompanying visuals — directed by Krule himself — and they capture the performer navigating remote lands as he battles with personal relationships and his own current mind state.
Now, as we wait for the first date of King Krule’s world tour — that starts in Minneapolis on July 21 and concludes in Paris on November 7 — you can take in “If Only It Was Warmth” in its entirety below.
