Slowthai Removed From Several UK Festivals Following Rape Charges
The rapper will no longer perform at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Parklife this summer.

Earlier this week, British rapper Slowthai was charged with two counts of rape. The 28-year-old musician — whose real name is Tyron Frampton — reportedly assaulted a woman in 2021 and was charged with oral and vaginal penetration without consent, which he denied on social media.
While Frampton is scheduled to appear before the UK Crown Court next month, he has already been scrubbed from several festival performances this summer. Slowthai’s name has disappeared from the Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Parklife line-ups, jeopardizing other forthcoming gigs.
The rest of Slowthai’s European festival performances remain unchanged, but time will tell if other events follow suit.
