Elon Musk Teases New Tesla EV In Development, With Another on the Way
Speaking at the company’s annual shareholder’s meeting.
Elon Musk has given words that
“I just want to emphasize that we are actually building a new product,” Musk told the crowd. “We are actually designing a new product. We’re not sitting on our hands here.”
He went on to say that, as for the two new EVs, “the design of the products and the manufacturing techniques are head and shoulders above anything else that is present in the industry.”
Musk later noted that the meeting wasn’t to focus on the new EVs and that a more official product announcement would follow. Though he said the company is currently working on “building,” it’s likely he means they’re making the prototype and not a production-ready model.
