The 10k Rappers Hit the Beach in Denim Tears' New Collection
Niontay, Sideshow, and Anysia Kym front the lookbook for “Act III pt. 2,” further evolving the connection between the Tremaine Emory-led streetwear imprint and MIKE’s independent record label.
MIKE‘s 10k and Tremaine Emory‘s Denim Tears go way back, the rapper’s Brooklyn-based independent record label a longtime supporter of the streetwear imprint and vice versa.
The connection between the two NYC entities is one that just makes sense and has only strengthened over the course of the past year. 10k signee Niontay fronted Act 1 of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection back in September, as well as Act III the following January. For Summer 2026, Emory has gathered a trio of artists from the label’s talent lineup to lead the season’s Act III pt. 2 installment.
Niontay is joined by Anysia Kym and Sideshow for the final drop of Denim Tears’ Summer 2026 collection, the labelmates hitting the beach for a day to flex the new collection.
Given the setting, swimwear holds it down as a strong point, with patterned drawstring swim shorts landing in a pattern of the brand’s red, black, and green Pan-African flag motif. Kym dons a standout graphic T-shirt, stamped with a muscle print across the entire silhouette, complete with a red, black, and green bikini bottom on the backside.
Cop a piece starting this Friday, July 10, at 11 a.m. EST online and in-store at African Diaspora Goods, 176 Spring St.
