The New Balance 2002R Is Smoked In Hazy "Incense"
Featuring beige uppers with pre-stained markings.
New Balance‘s staple 2002R model has become loved by sneaker wearers across the globe. In 2022, the Boston-based imprint showed no signs of slowing down and propelled the model to new heights by releasing countless colorways that became instant sell-outs.
Following the reveal of the “Wet Blue,” “Concrete Grey,” and “Sandstone” colorways, New Balance smokes the 2002R in murky “Incense.” A soft beige palette dominates the sneaker, featuring faint soiled markings across the uppers. The previous runs through the mudguards, forefeet, medials, and rears, while tonal mesh underlays hit the toe boxes, and creamy leather trimmings are placed throughout. Gradient brown hues surround matching profile N logos alongside model-specific branding on the tongues, ankle areas, and heels.
The design is complete with pre-stained ABZORB midsoles for increased comfort while in motion, placed atop two-toned rubber outsoles.
The New Balance 2002R “Incense” will release later this year via New Balance and select retailers for $140 USD.
