Domino’s Pizza has consistently made it easy for its customers to order savory treats with the push of a button. While its mobile app allows for an ultra-fast order process, the global pizza chain will now permit consumers to request their meals via Apple CarPlay.

The new feature will update electronic car dashboards with a new version of the Domino’s Pizza app, which authorizes a “Tap to Order” method that instantly signals your nearest restaurant to begin cooking at your command. The system is meant for pick-up orders only, while “Call to Order” grants additional customization options and home delivery services.

“We know how frustrating it can be to wait in a [fast food] drive-thru line just to place an order. Domino’s app on CarPlay is a great alternative to that, as customers still have the convenience of staying in their car, and can place an order from wherever they are, without waiting in a long drive-thru,” says Domino’s SVP chief digital officer Christopher Thomas-Moore.
