Häagen-Dazs Whips up New Ice Cream Flavor With “Picasso of Pastries” Pierre Hermé
With decadent nuggets of macaron shells.
Häagen-Dazs has revealed its latest special edition treat created in collaboration with Pierre Hermé. Presenting the macaron infused ice cream, their new invention marks an exciting first for the brand and the renowned pastry chef.
Blending Häagen-Dazs’ velvety ice cream with his top-secret macaron recipe, the “Picasso of pastries” assembles the sweetest of flavors, balanced with an almond taste for a touch of nuttiness. The new ice cream arrives in the most-loved ingredient combinations including strawberry and raspberry, double chocolate ganache, and yuzu and lemon as the brand aims to deliver a “pure French amour taste experience.”
Speaking on the new collaboration, Pierre Hermé shares, “For the past twenty years, I have constantly been creating and reinterpreting my macaron recipes, which is my favorite creative terrain. My macarons are my identity so to put them in an ice cream I needed to work with the very best. Häagen-Dazs is just as passionate as me when it comes to quality, taste and crafting things in a new way so collaboration was established from the first bite.”
To encapsulate the indulgence of the new ice cream, the brand produced a Parisian-look campaign that places the pint-sized and mini-cup products in a fantasy-style tea party. Take a closer look in the gallery above.
The Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé ice cream is available across Europe and Korea, find out more on your local Häagen-Dazs website.
