Kid Cudi Teases a "New Chapter" in June 2023
With his new album slated to drop this Fall.
Kid Cudi is hinting at something big in the works that kicks off this summer.
The artist teased fans on Twitter about starting “a new chapter,” although he did not clarify what exactly fans can expect. Cudder did, however, take some time to share his gratitude for the DJs who used and promoted his music through the years, “DJs all around the world: I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for playin my tunes all these years. I would not be where im at now with out any of you, and I am deeply grateful.”
He continued, “The time has come for my evolution. June 2nd, we start a new chapter. Join me.”
The “new chapter” remains to be seen, however Cudi previously tweeted about a new album using similar language. He confirmed that his new album will drop in the fall while the singles will begin rolling out in the summer, adding, “The new chapter has begun… Ur not prepared man. We’ve reached a new level.” There’s also the matter of his upcoming memoir, which he revealed already had a few chapters written. “This book is gonna be something I hope inspires people, anybody that has a dream that wants to do anything, especially those kids in those small towns somewhere in the United States or anywhere outside in the world, in another country, that just wants to do something great with their lives. I feel like this book is gonna give you that push that you need,” he said.
