After Mario and Astro Boy‘s boots were brought into the real world earlier this year by Red Wing and MSCHF respectively, we now see a variation of the “Assasin” shoe from The Simpsons being sold in real life.

The original pair were inspired by the Nike Air Trainer SC worn by Bo Jackson, and were first spotted  by Homer on the feet of Ned Flanders in Season 2 of the show. These IRL customs in particular were made by the independent label RETRO Clothing featuring Homer’s name embroidered on the heel in Simpsons typeface, “ASSASSIN” embroidery, and what looks to be an upside-down Swoosh across the lateral heel counter.

“Assassins are a sophisticated type of running shoes with Velcro straps, a water pump on the tongue, reflective side walls, and a retail price of $125 on the show,” RETRO Clothing writes in the description. “Ned Flanders owns a pair, as did Homer Simpson before they were destroyed by Santa’s Little Helper.”

Priced at $180 USD, the pairs are now available online for pre-order.

Elsewhere in footwear, Anuel AA x Reebok Classic Leather “1983 Vintage” celebrates Puerto Rico.
