Kaytranada and Aminé Announce Upcoming Collaboration "KAYTRAMINÉ"
With a cryptic remix of their names.
Canadian producer Kaytranada and rapper Aminé are cooking something up. Announcing their upcoming project “KAYTRAMINÉ” on social media, the duo is teasing what can only be suspected, as a music collaboration.
The announcement was placed on Twitter and Instagram, with both artists posting a cryptic video of Kaytranada remixing both their names on a DJ pad. It is uncertain if the collaboration will be a joint album, EP, or just a new track. No further information was given, as the post’s caption only read, “KAYTRAMINÉ BY KAYTRAMINÉ, coming soon.” The video then zooms out to see both artists vibing to the mix, announcing the upcoming project. It is also uncertain when exactly the project will release.
Aminé’s most recent full-length project, TWOPOINTFIVE was released in 2021, while last year, Kaytranada kept busy, teaming up with Anderson .Paak for a new single, “Twin Flame,” and also appeared on Joyce Wrice‘s “Iced Tea.” Other projects include PinkPantheress‘ “Do you miss me?” and a remix of The Weeknd‘s “Out of Time.” Kaytranada also opened for The Weeknd while on tour last year.
