adidas Introduces the Travel-Oriented X_PLRBOOST
Making its stateside debut later this week.

For nearly a decade, the adidas UltraBOOST has been held in high regards as one of the footwear scene’s most comfortable shoes. Backed by its full-length BOOST midsole and Primeknit upper, there’s few options that match its blend of responsiveness with a glove-like fit. Utilizing it as a blueprint for many BOOST-filled silhouette launches since, adidas continues to explore new material compositions and construction techniques. As we further dive into 2023, the Three Stripes is gearing up to launch its latest look — the X_PLRBOOST.
Having seen some regional action last month, the X_PLRBOOST is now arriving stateside as a new travel-oriented sneaker. It has been prepared in colorways of “Silver Pebble” and “Aluminum” with purple and gold accents landing on each look respectively. As for its build, the silhouette features an upper comprised of mesh, neoprene and suede elements that carry at least 50% recycled content. Supporting the shoe, a large sole unit is packed with BOOST, a torsion system and a new rubber outsole design.
For those looking to give the new shoe a spin, the two men’s colorways — alongside three women’s looks — are scheduled to launch via adidas on April 6 at 3am EDT at a price of $190 USD each.
