Kobe Bryant's adidas Crazy 1 "Lakers Away" Returns This Year
Following the “Lakers Home” launch that took place in February.
Resurfacing last year, the late Kobe Bryant‘s adidas Crazy 1 has made noise with its many releases in the past year — including the original “Lakers Home” look. Additionally, it has served as design inspiration for several of adidas Basketball’s newest silhouettes such as the Crazy IIInfinity and Superteam 2000 S that were previewed at NBA All-Star Weekend earlier this year.
In continuation of the model’s triumphant return, the Los Angeles Lakers-themed “Lakers Away” look has been prepared for a reissue. Its color scheme blends a plain black with hits of “Collegiate Purple” and “Bold Gold” that ties the look to the Lakers. Its iconic molded upper favors black across the majority of its build with the Three Stripes appearing in a tonal presentation on each side. Its purple hue chimes in at the lining, eyelets, heel and outsole while its striking yellow hits the toe, midfoot and heel window to complete the look.
For those interested in grabbing this throwback pair, adidas is currently expected to launch it on May 1 via its site and select retailers worldwide at a price of $150 USD.
In other adidas Basketball news, James Harden’s latest colorway of his Harden Vol. 7 — titled the “Lucid Fuchsia” — has now been officially revealed by the Three Stripes.
