anOnlyChild’s SS23 Campaign Harmonizes Poise and Cultural Reverence
Shot by revered photographer, Micaiah Carter.
Last September during NYFW, Maxwell Osborne’s anOnlyChild held down the city with its new SS23 collection “It’s Getting Late” collection. Embedded with highlights like silk tailoring and layered dresses alongside multicolored ruched tops and more, the collection welcomed a new era for the skilled designer. To give the collection a second life, the brand enlisted revered photographer, Micaiah Carter, for its accompanying SS23 campaign.
Of the same title, the freshly debuted campaign took up residence in Osborne’s Mount Vernon family home. Even in the essence of “It’s Getting Late,” the location choice builds upon the previous collection’s “Welcome Home” campaign. As such, the artfully shot images harmonize poise, feelings of communal love and Osborne’s Jamaican heritage. Filling the shots are the collection’s refined suiting, sublime silk garments, striking graphic fabrics and sculptural yet soft proportions.
Even in its elegance, the almost vintage-style shots portray deep wearability across the collection’s garments, whether it be a daytime meeting or a dimly lit dinner. Take a look at anOnlyChild’s SS23 campaign above.
The new SS23 collection is available now at anOnlyChild and in-store and online at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fith Avenue New York.
