Questlove fans will have the opportunity to own a record from the musician’s personal collection. The Roots artist is teaming up with the livestream shopping platform Whatnot to auction off some of his vinyl with all proceeds benefiting the Future of Food Entrepreneurship Program, a program that connects high school students with companies in the sustainable food space and the Food Education Fund, a nonprofit that works with culinary-focused public high school students.

Set to kick off this Friday, April 7, the livestream will be hosted by Questlove himself. As for the records on the auction block, the collection is made up of 50-year-old vinyl across soul and jazz.

Among the offerings are The Awakening’s Hear Sense Feel (1972), The Soul Searchers’ Salt Of The Earth (1974) and The 24 Carat Black’s Ghetto Misfortune’s Wealth (1973). Also in the mix are The Cannonball Adderly Quintet’s Why Am I Treated So Bad (1967), James Brown’s Hot Pants (1971) and Kool & The Gang’s Music Is The Message (1972), among others.

One lucky fan will also be invited to come with Questlove for a shopping trip at A-1 Record Shop in New York for National Record Store Day on April 22.

In other music news, Dreamville president Ib Hamad has addressed when J. Cole’s Friday Night Lights will hit streaming.
