ASICS ACTIBREEZE 3D Slide Gets Drenched in “Mako Blue”

The trends centered around mules, clogs and slides don’t appear to be fizzling out in the foreseeable future, so brands in the sportswear realm are continuing to participate in this all-out footrace by pumping out a fleet of new styles. Last year, one of ASICS‘ heavy hitters in this category was its ASICS ACTIBREEZE 3D Slide — a 3D-printed model whose latticed build impressed the sneaker community.

In certain situations, brands feel it best to drop a certain model in lesser quantities, that way when it does arrive back on the scene, consumers are more excited about it. That’s exactly the case with the ACTIBREEZE 3D Slide as it debuted last year in a monochromatic black colorway, but the post-run-recovery go-to is ready to expand its horizons as its newest “Mako Blue” offering has just been unveiled. Dropping with a tonal motif, the lounge-ready kicks are completely flooded with their titular hue and arrive with a brighter palette that aligns with the spring and summer seasons.
