VEERT Ups the Ante With Debut RTW Collection
With Jim Jones leading the inaugural campaign.
Since its founding in 2020, Julia Lang’s VEERT has covered a lot of ground with five successful jewelry collections. Consisting of its signature hues of green and gold, the brand has become known for its presentation of fine materials with contemporary designs. Now the brand is expanding its reach with its debut ready-to-wear collection.
Filling the collection is a light jacket, a hoodie, oversized t-shirts and a pair of shorts that echo the brand’s commitment to quality material selections. Overall, the collection pieces feature a pre-washed vintage look, which is elevated by a hand-embroidered “green heart” motif on the hoodie and shorts.
“This has really been a labor of love,” said Lang. “I’ve been incessantly poring over every single stitch and design detail for the last several months—so even though it’s a small capsule, looking back at the entire process, it was a herculean undertaking.”
Serving as a collection highlight is a structured black virgin wool jacket with strong shoulders, large pockets and a waist-resting fit. But regardless of the piece, what cements the debut RTW collection is its campaign starring rapper, Jim Jones.
