When it comes to accessing the sneaker world’s most coveted releases, few have as many connections as DJ Clark Kent. Beyond grabbing pairs for himself, the prolific artist is known for hooking up his friends and family with shoes — especially Nike kicks. He’s also played a role in collaborations such as his Nike SB Dunk Low “112” dating back to 2013. Now, he has reconnected with the Swoosh to commemorate “The List” on a pair of Air Force 1 Lows.

While many — including recent Sole Mates guest Kim Jayde who received her Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” courtesy of Kent — refer to “The List” as an enigmatic entity that operates as the ultimate sneaker plug. DJ Clark Kent has clarified via Instagram that it refers to four friends, sharing “We don’t believe in ANY list. We just want to help each other out. For the love of sneakers.”

In this detailed preview of the pair, a multicolored arrangement hits a glistening pebbled leather upper. Its premium composition is packed with features, adding mini Swooshes to the lateral and a bevy of references to the theme scattered throughout. “FRIENDS” and “FAMILY” text lands on the lateral heel of the left and right shoes respectively while “GODs” [sic] “FAVORITE” embroidery is included across the two heel tabs. The mismatched sneakers also carry DJ Clark Kent’s logo on the left shoe and “#TheLIST” text on the right — the latter of which matches the left shoe’s red sockliner while the other sockliner appears in blue with a nod to Clark, Abdul, Magdi and All Day, the four friends mentioned previously. Wrapping up this highly-detailed pair of kicks, a classic white midsole is joined by a gum outsole.

As of now, we’re uncertain if the DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Force 1 Low “The List” will be available publicly or limited to the industry’s inner circles. Stay tuned for additional information as we learn more about the pair.
