At Watches & Wonders, Montblanc has presented its latest round of timepieces. From the new 8000 capsule collection that pays homage to the world’s 14 highest peaks, to the limited-edition 1858 Ice Sea Coffret set that comes in a spectacular presentation case, read on for the full list of Montblanc’s offerings at the week-long event.

Montblanc 1858 0 Oxygen The 8000 Collection

Joining Montblanc’s roster of “Zero Oxygen” time-tellers, this new capsule collection comprises four watches that, as its name suggests, are completely devoid of oxygen. This invisible yet special feature help to prevent oxidization and fogging while simultaneously elongating the lives of watch components inside. Each piece is outfitted with a dark gray Sfumato glacier-patterned dial, highlighted with orange accents and blue luminescence.

The Automatic Date arrives in a 41mm stainless steel case that’s fixed with a black ceramic bezel, while an automatic MB 24.15 calibre powers the piece for around 38 hours of running time. With a power reserve of 48 hours, the Automatic Chronograph is equipped with the MB 25.13 automatic and self-winding chronograph movement. Its 42mm steel cases boast a fluted bi-directional black ceramic bezel with luminescent cardinal points. Both pieces feature  “Spirit of Exploration” engraved casebacks, complete with integrated stainless steel bracelets.

Attired in titanium, the remaining two references from the collection are the Geosphere, and a 290-piece limited-edition Geophere Chronograph. Both are cased in titanium and equipped with a world-time function, the Geosphere comes in a 42mm case size, while the Geosphere Chronograph measures 44mm in diameter. The former reference runs on the MB 29.25 calibre and features a colored engraving of the K2 mountain. The latter comes in a 44mm case that houses the MB 29.27 chronograph calibre, finished with an engraved caseback starring a list and profiles of the 14 Eight Thousander peaks.

1858 Iced Sea Limited-Edition Coffret

This state-of-the-art, sculptural case features a design that emulates the look and texture of the Mont-Blanc Mountain, making it both a decor and functional presentation box that appeals to collectors. Inside this special display case is the 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date collection, comprising a blue and a green edition from last year, on top of this year’s glacier grey version. Each of the casebacks is adorned with color engravings that depict different views of Mont-Blanc — the Aiguille du Moine for the blue edition, Les Drus for the green, and Les Grandes Jorasses for the grey.

Outfitted in 41 mm-sized stainless steel cases, the three timepieces all feature a Mer de Glace-inspired dial design, which are all created using the gratté-boisé technique. Beating inside the watches is the MB 24.17 automatic and self-winding movement, complete with approximately 30 ATM of water resistance. Price at $11,600 USD, the set is due to launch later in the year as a 191-piece boutique-exclusive limited-edition.

1858 Iced Sea Grey Dial & Boutique Edition

Expanding the 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date lineup is the new grey-glacier patterned dial edition, alongside a boutique-exclusive green and grey colored dial reference. Both watches are equipped with all the distinctive characteristics that define the model, from the gratté-boisé dials, and 41mm stainless steel cases, to the unidirectional ceramic bezels. Unlike the Coffret edition, the caseback engravings for these two timepieces aren’t in color. Both editions are fitted with the MB 24.17/SW200 automatic movement, which provides 38 hours of power reserve and around 30 ATM of water-resistance.

Unveiled Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph

Following last year’s limited releases of the Unveiled Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph in Lime Gold and stainless steel, the Maison has introduced a new and more contemporary-looking iteration boasting a distressed steel finish. Attired with a white gold fluted bezel, the new timepiece exhibits its MB M16.26 manual-winding movement through its see-through and domed-shape dial. With only 88 pieces produced, the limited-edition chronograph is set to retail for $36,500 USD, and will soon be available via Montblanc.

Unveiled Timekeeper Minerva

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Maison’s first chronograph wristwatch movement, Montblanc has unveiled two reimagined Unveiled Timekeeper Minerva timepieces. Starring an avant-garde design that debuts a new way to activate the chronograph function without actual chronograph pushers, the Minerva now incorporates the function within its gold-fluted bezel at the ease of one click. Running inside this special time-teller is the manual-winding MB M13.21 calibre, which offers up to 60 hours of running time. Priced at $54,000. USD, the green-dialed version is paired with an 18-carat lime gold build, which will soon be available in a limited run of 28 units. Meanwhile, the blue dialed version is attired in a stainless steel case with a white gold bezel. It will be released as a 100-piece limited edition with a retail price of around $40,500 USD.
