adidas Football has just presented its new collection of football away jerseys ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand.

Teaming up with the nations of Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Japan, Spain, and Sweden, having already presented all-new designs for Costa Rica, Italy, and Jamaica earlier this year, the Three Stripe’s latest designs take inspiration from nature and the great outdoors, while each jersey also takes elements from unique natural landscapes from each nation.

For example, some highlighted inspirations come from the new Germany kit, which pays homage to vast green woodlands, while the new Sweden strip looks to its glaciers and the Columbia design explores the constantly-changing colors of the Caño Cristales River.

Each shirt has also been crafted using adidas’ most innovative fabrications. For example, the sportswear specialist has welcomed lightweight and heat-applied details along with additional AEROREADY technology that is used to keep players dry when on the pitch.

Meanwhile, HEAT.RDY technology is used across each jersey — this is an element that keeps players cool while playing in high temperatures. Both authentic and replica versions of the shirts have been created for the new release, with each of them made from a yarn that contains 50% Parley Ocean Plastic; reinterpreted plastic waste that is found on remote islands, beaches, and coastal communities.

Speaking about the release of the new collection, Sam Handy, Vice President of Product and Design for adidas Football said: “The jerseys are performance-led and come equipped with technologies that allow players to meet the demands of the modern game.

“For this year’s federation kits, we believe we’ve delivered just that – best-in-class performance sportswear with a design that is bold, exciting, and celebrates the diverse natural landscape unique to each country – a combination worthy of this year’s Women’s World Cup.”

You can take a closer look at the collection from adidas Football above and the new kits are available to shop via the official adidas website now.
