Earlier this month, Richardson unveiled its new collection for the Spring/Summer 2023 season, which consists of deep dive into ’90s rave styles, erotic manga and remixed Americana styles. Now the brand is looking specifically at the last style of the aforementioned trio for drop 1 of the collection.

Coming in the first offering is a look at some of American style’s core elements, which focuses on workwear and street-oriented styles. Relatively calm, the first drop includes a selection of varsity jackets, workwear jackets, pants and t-shirts. The workwear lifestyle comes to life with the Cruiser Jacket in black or ecru that is finished off with Glyph snap buttons and plated chinos with embroidered detailing.

A highlight of the collection is the Richardson Satin Starter Jacket with embroidered Richardson insignia’s snap closures and a contrasting stripe collar. For versatile wear, the piece comes in shades of royal blue and black. Other standouts include the denim work pants and the limited edition Flag Work pants with vintage American Flag detailing.

Take a look at the offering in the gallery above. Drop 1 of Richardson SS23 collection releases on Thursday, February 23 online.

In other news, Paolo Carzana relishes in romantically delicate textures for FW23.
