Once the mainstream audience started getting their hands on pairs of the New Balance 550 the Boston-based sportswear imprint realized that it had another lifestyle offering that it needed to capitalize on. And since then, we’ve seen the silhouette dominate the streets both in inline and collaborative forms, and this season the model has been unveiled in a fresh “Turtledove” palette.

This latest installment is designed to become a versatile option for your wardrobe thanks to its monochromatic presentation. Up top, everything from the perforated leather overlays to the mesh underlays and tongues has been covered in its titular shade. The standard lateral and N logos, “550” hits on the forefoot and the tongue and heel “New Balance” branding all follow suit with their creamy exteriors to provide an extra clean aesthetic. These can be somewhat compared to AURALEE’s New Balance 550 collaboration that was introduced in 2021, only these don’t come produced with pre-yellowed sole units that proffer up a vintage aesthetic.

Looking to cop? The New Balance 550 “Turtledove” is available now via select retailers like Aphrodite for £149 ($180 USD). Detailed images of the pair can be seen in the gallery above.

In other news, a New Balance 991 “Pink Suede” colorway has been revealed.
