Closer Look: Snow Peak x Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance Niobium Concept 3 Boot
A multi-layered silhouette ready for the coldest of environments.
Following a first look at their collaborative capsule earlier this month, Snow Peak and Tokyo Design Studio have unveiled a closer look at their New Balance Niobium Concept 3 Boot.
The boot comes in a gray gradient and is made with a two-layer construction, featuring an outer shell and removable lightweight inner boot — enabling both in and outdoor wear. Additional utility-facing construction is provided by eVent, Prima Loft and Vibram, making the shoe water-repellent, durable and ready for almost any terrain.
While the exterior of the shoe is presented via a minimalist approach, featuring grey and white details on top of a thick black rubber outer — the interior liner of the boot offers a touch of color, with a light blue patterned material, featuring the same designs found on the previously revealed outwear collection.
The Snow Peak x Tokyo Design Studio New Balance Niobium Concept 3 is expected to be released on January 5, for a retail price of $300 USD, via select retailers and through New Balance’s official site.
