While Ye assured fans that “Everybody” – the Backstreet Boys-sampling track lifted from Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign – would drop this week, the rapper failed to deliver on the promise. However, the pair did drop off another cut from the collaborative project; albeit anticlimactic, “Unlock” premiered last night on DJ Pharris’ Chicago radio station, Power 92.

At just over two minutes long, Ty Dolla leads the cut, with Kanye stepping in to layer his vocals atop Dolla’s in the latter half. “Unlock” relies on a cathartic and catchty chorus that carries through most of the song – “Once again the clouds are gathering to release what they held in / Once again the clouds are gathering to release what they held in.”

Per the initially surfaced Vultures tracklist, “Unlock” is listed as the album’s closer, and is one of few the tracks on the project that includes no featured artists.

“Unlock” is not available on DSPs yet, but find the Twitter link to stream above. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on Vultures as they surface.
