Ye Issues Apology to Jewish Community for Antisemitic Remarks
The rapper was dropped by multiple companies last year for antisemitic rants.

Over a year ago, Ye made headlines for a series of antisemitic rants on social media. The fallout resulted in multiple companies dropping the rapper, including the termination of his longstanding deal with adidas in October 2022.
Ye was the topic of even more criticism following a listening event for his joint LP with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures, in Las Vegas on December 15. Onstage, he performed the album’s title track, which contained the lyrics: “How I’m antisemitic? I just f***ed a Jewish b****.”
The rapper has now cleared out his Instagram feed and posted an apology in Hebrew for “unplanned outbursts caused by [his] words or actions,” translated by The Jerusalem Post.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” Ye wrote. “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.”
“Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
