Netflix Unveils Official Teaser Trailer for Zack Snyder's 'Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver'
Premiering next spring.
Netflix has officially dropped the teaser for Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver. The film is the finale to his two-part sci-fi epic, which released last week. The action-packed finale will premiere on the platform next spring.
The first film, Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire released just a days ahead of Christmas and quickly rose to No. 1 on Netflix’s top movies chart. The story follows a lone solider named Kora played by Sofia Boutella, who has discovered a quiet life in a community on a farming moon called Veldt. She leaves behind her life of fighting against the Imperium which is an evil intergalactic royal empire with a mission to control the entire galaxy. Sadly, her new life of comfort is interrupted and she returns to war when Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein) visits her planet. She recruits a team of fighters including Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), Darrian Bloodaxe (Ray Fisher), Kai (Charlie Hunnam) and a robot named Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins) to lead the resistance.
The second part continues the saga of Kora. In the synopsis it reads that the adventure continues with “Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.”
