Godzilla and the McDonald's Crew Square Off in New 100% BE@RBRICK Set
Releasing exclusively through McDonald’s Japan.

Godzilla is back in the pop culture lexicon just ahead of its 70th anniversary thanks to the popularity of the recently-released Godzilla Minus One and now the towering kaiju is “squaring off” with some notable McDonald’s characters in a BE@RBRICK set created by McDonald’s Japan and Medicom Toy. Dubbed “Godzilla vs. McDonald’s,” the set places Godzilla alongside three McDonald’s mainstays: Hamburglar, Grimace and Birdie the Early Bird.
Though the grey Godzilla figure is the only real “monster” in this set, the truly terrifying figure here is undeniably Grimace — fitting after the virality of the “Grimace Shake” earlier this year — thanks to the eerie, blank expression on its face. Hamburgular is dressed in full burglar regalia, while Birdie dons her signature pink apron.
The three McDonald’s characters are making their first appearance in BE@RBRICK form for this collection, though each was reworked for the Cactus Plant Flea Market x McDonald’s collaboration in 2022. Godzilla, for its part, has appeared as a BE@RBRICK figure multiple times, including 1964 and Mechagodzilla iterations, a BAIT-exclusive style and a nod to Godzilla vs. Destroyah.
If you’re interested in entering the lottery for these figures, it’s live on the McDonald’s Japan website now and runs until 11:59 PM on January 8. Its MSRP is set at ¥2,970 (roughly $20.84 in US dollars).
