It looks like The Bear fans will be getting the third season a lot sooner than expected. The hit TV series that follows around award-winning chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto played by Jeremy Allen White, as he turns a sandwich shop kitchen into a high-end restaurant.

In a recent conversation with Vanity Fair, White gave an update on when fans can expect Season 3 of The Bear. Earlier this November, FX renewed the series for its third season. The second season aired this June. White said, “I think they’ve written a couple of scripts. I have not read any.” He also added, “I do know in January I’m going to spend a fair amount of time getting together with some chefs. And I know that I’m going to star putting together [the titular restaurant's] menu with different chefs and cooking and just trying to get prepared to do more of that stuff on camera.”

White also acknowledges that “for the second season, so much of it was about putting the restaurant together, so there wasn’t much cooking.” He added, “But now, in the third season, I think we’re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first.” FX has not yet announced the official release date but has promised the premiere for the third season to be in 2024. Stay tuned for more info.
