ASICS is expanding it retro running sneakers with a new dark and sleek new colorway for the GEL-KAYANO 14 silhouette. Paying homage to the late 2000s vibe, the shoe arrives in a black and silver iteration. This shoe marks the first design not crafted by Toshikazu Kayano, bringin a new life into the sneaker’s legacy.

Though this is the case, the shoe continues to stay true to the brand and the silhouette’s core design and performance features. Incorporating the signature GEL technology in the midsole, the shoe has optimal cushioning. The shoe maintains its layered leather and mesh construction taken from the original 2008 makeup. The shoe arrives in a mostly black mesh upper, inner lining and outsoles. The silver highlights the ASICS branding on the tongue, lateral and heel branding.

The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 “Black/Pure Silver” is set to make a debut in select retailers and online at ASICS in 2024 for $150 USD.
