TOHO Animation Drops New Trailer for 'Spy x Family' Film Spin-Off
‘Spy x Family Code: White’ will hit theaters in the West in 2024.
TOHO Animation has shared a new trailer for Spy × Family Code: White, the spinoff film of the popular spy anime series. Written by Tatsuya Endo, the original creator of the Spy x Family manga, the show is currently airing its second season and follows a spy who is tasked with the mission to “build a family.”
What Loid Forger doesn’t realize, however, is that his wife is a trained assassin and that his adopted daughter possesses telepathic abilities. The show takes a lighthearted approach, bringing viewers along on the Forger family’s eclectic adventures.
The trailer previews an original story, previewing action, drama and even some romance. One series of clips gives a look at a fast-paced fight between planes, while another teases a shootout scene.
Spy x Family Code: White has already aired in Japan but will be receiving a release in the West come 2024. The animated flick is produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks and directed by Kazuhiro Furihashi, who also helmed the Spy x Family show.
