An extremely rare example of the 2019 Porsche 935, one of only 77 ever made, has been listed for auction via Bring A Trailer. This exclusive model, known for its design and performance, was initially unveiled in celebration of Porsche‘s 70th anniversary. Bearing the distinction of being the 13th unit produced, this track-only gem is an homage to the legendary 935 racing platform.

The car’s journey began at the Portimao Algarve International Circuit in Portugal, from where it was delivered to its current owner. It later made its way to Canada, participating in events like the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Drive Festival hill climb and the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame Celebration of Speed.

The 2019 Porsche 935 stands out with its exposed carbon-fiber-composite bodywork, complemented by Agate Gray roof pillars, providing a striking and modern look. The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine, paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle, boasting a factory-rated output of 700 hp at 7,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft of torque.

Optimized features included a racing-tuned limited-slip differential, Brembo slotted and ventilated disc brakes with adjustable bias and three-way adjustable dampers. Safety and performance are further enhanced by a welded-in roll cage, FIA-compliant Recaro carbon-fiber racing seats and a comprehensive airbag system.

The stand-out style of the exterior is carried into the interior, which features a laminated wood shift knob – a nod to the iconic Porsche 917 – and a carbon-fiber multifunction steering wheel. Comfort is not compromised, with the inclusion of air conditioning and a sophisticated Cosworth digital dash.

Back at the exterior, the 991-based 935 showcases its motorsport heritage with a longtail rear profile inspired by the 1978 “Moby Dick” race car. Its LED headlights, integrated into the front air inlets and the adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing with integrated LED lights are among some of the features that make this car unique.

The vehicle’s odometer reads a light 587 miles, reflected by its pristine condition. Along with the car, the auction includes a factory spare parts package and a bill of sale. At the time of writing, the current highest bid is $1,600,000 USD, with seven days still on the clock.
