SZA Shares What She Actually Said on Her "Rich Baby Daddy" Verse
Saying she was sick while recording.

“Rich Baby Daddy” has proved one of Drake‘s most-streamed For All The Dogs tracks, featuring guest appearances from Sexyy Red and SZA. SZA’s verse specifically has found itself at the center of much internet discourse, with fans questioning what exactly the singer is saying during her verse.
Yesterday, SZA took to her Instagram story to clarify the lyrics as well as provide some context, adding that she was sick while recording the track.
She clarifies her verse officially goes as follows: “You been so good and you deserve to end your suffering / I need good d*ck and conversation can you comfort me / I got a feeling this is more than what we both say / I got a feeling this is more than feelings. I can’t let you get away / Feels good but it can’t be love / Ain’t a damn thing that I’d do / Ain’t a damn thing oooooo…”
“I was sick with a fever and couldn’t breathe when I recorded this. I told Drake no one would understand me and that I sounded crazy. He said ‘nooo you’re fine,’” she explained. Read her full message in the Instagram story below.
