Yabu Pushelberg Unveils Memento Rug Collection
Featuring seven hand-knotted pieces.

The North American design studio Yabu Pushelberg has revealed its new Memento Collection, which centers on the artisanal craftmanship of rugs.
Made for Milan-based rug company, cc-tapis, the new collection features seven hand-knotted rugs which were crafted by Tibetan artisans. Doubling as art pieces, the rugs blend the spaces of reality and dreams with their inquisitively eye-catching designs. Specifically, the rugs harmonize the styles of both Yabu Pushelberg and cc-tapis to bring forth a showcase through time. Additionally, the new offering continues Yabu Pushelberg’s affinity for building “immersive environments, compelling destinations and considered goods”
“cc-tapis graciously provided us with a fresh canvas to express our most significant memories; helping us create a “memento” living on the surface of the floor (or wall).”
The seven hand-finished rugs come to life through Himalayan wool in dyed and undyed materials. The range of rugs casts shades of beige, deep blue, teal, turquoise, pewter, beige, gray and cream. The seven hand-knotted rugs include Axo, Iso, Ortho, Laneway, Echo, Dome and Drift.
Take a look at the pieces in the gallery above. Yabu Pusehlberg’s new Memento Collection for cc-tapis is available now on the brand’s website.
