Nike Teases Textured Suede Cortez in Grass Green Shade
Following last month’s burgundy “Team Red” colorway.

Late last month, Nike unveiled a new edition of its classic Nike Cortez trainer in the “Team Red” colorway, a rich burgundy suede available exclusively for the women’s line.
The brand has continued to celebrate the distinct shoe with yet another new color. This release comes in a green that evokes fresh grass, not only because of its color but also its brushed effect.
One photo of the Cortez shows a textured suede that looks like it’s been purposefully thrown in the dryer, giving it a roughened look. Similar to its approach with “Team Red,” Nike kept the logo and sole of the shoe a crisp white.
An exact release date has yet to be revealed for this particular colorway but it’s reported to be dropping sometime in 2023 and retailing for $90 USD. Stay tuned for more details on the green Cortez.
