"Natural Indigo" Covers the New Balance 9060
Suede and mesh continue to reign supreme.
As New Balance continues to shine in the sneaker game, it has tapped into the industry’s trends, especially with its growing list of collaborators and silhouettes. 2022’s rollout of the New Balance 9060 is the perfect example of this. First, the sneaker was revealed in a major collaboration with Joe Freshgoods, then it went on to feature during Mowalola’s Spring/Summer 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week. New Balance has since proceeded to capitalize on this momentum and positioning with the launch of many in-house colorways.
In “Natural Indigo,” New Balance has prepared the 9060 with the silhouette’s signature blend of a mesh base with pigskin suede overlays on the upper. Shades of blue outfit the overlays and tongue while a “Calm Taupe” hits the mesh and midsole. Gray hues further support the look on the heel, “N” logos and the sole unit which features ABZORB and SBS cushioning. From there, cream laces and a black rubber outsole round out the detailing of this colorway.
The New Balance 9060 “Natural Indigo” does not have an official release date from New Balance. However, it is available now via Lapstone & Hammer at a price of $150 USD. Check the pair out above and stay tuned for a full release in the coming weeks.
