Joe Freshgoods and New Balance Release the All-New JFG 9060 "Inside Voices"
Alongside an apparel collection.
Joe Freshgoods and New Balance have teamed up once again, this time for an all-new silhouette for their third collaboration.
To ready the launch of the new shoe, Joe Freshgoods commemorates the release with a campaign video titled Inside Clothes, a sequel to Outside Clothes which was first launched in August 2021. To conceptualize the idea of the collection, Joe spoke the words written by renowned poet Harold Green in the video, “To me, telling the story is way more important than selling the product. So, when conceptualizing the idea behind Inside Voices, I wanted someone that could speak with their chest poked out, but from the heart. It’s often a goal of mine to work with Chicago artists so I thought there would be no one better than renowned poet, Harold Green, to visualize with words what Inside Voices meant to me.”
The new JFG for New Balance Inside Voices 90/60 are set to release later this week and arrive in two New Balance 9060 colorways including the Penny Candy Pink which sees the shoe adorned in a peach-toned panel over a sandy pink mesh upper. The shoe sits atop a multi-color white and blue midsole and pink outsole to round out the shoe. The second colorway, the Baby Shower Blue, arrives in a lighter and cooler pastel palette.
In tandem with the new shoe release, the coordinating apparel includes items that range from t-shirts to crewnecks to hoodies and sweatpants, dressed in JFG branding and Inside Voices-inspired graphics. The collection takes on a similar color palette of the shoes, including a light blue letterman varsity jacket and a tan-collared chore jacket.
The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Inside Voices” apparel releases May 17 online at Joe Freshgoods whereas the New Balance Joe Freshgood 90/60 is set to become available on May 20 at a retail price of $180 USD. Fans of the shoe can head over to HBX on May 19 at 9 p.m. ET for an early release of the shoe.
