Dr. Martens is best known for its 1460 boot and 1461 shoe, but as we gear up for the warmer weather ahead, the footwear giant has dropped its own mule, dubbed the Carlson, in two new suede offerings.

While mules and sandals are nothing new from the brand, most previous designs have come as the result of a collaboration — namely PLEASURES, Suicoke, and Rick Owens. The Carlson first appeared as the “Carlson Lusso” back in August 2021, presented in full leather as per the brand’s signature design, but now it gets a suede update in both a black colorway and a green iteration too.

The brand’s classic Vibe sole unit with yellow stitching running around the perimeter of the midsole appears underneath the suede upper construction, while back on top you’ll find a smooth front covering alongside adjustable heel support that moves from the front to the back.

Leather insoles and a branded fastening round out these classically simplistic yet must-have mules. Take a closer look at the pair in black and green above, and pick up both colorways from Dr. Martens’ website for £89 GBP apiece (approx. $117 USD).

In other news, Aries and New Balance are back together again.
