Dr. Martens Debuts Its House-Friendly Carlson Lusso Mule
Built to last through summer.
2020 was without a doubt the year of the mule. With much of the planet tethered to their sofas as a result of the pandemic, the hunt for house-friendly footwear that looked as good in the home as it did out of it was on. While restrictions in 2021 have been largely loosened, the yearn for hybrid, adaptable footwear still remains.
For Summer 2021, Dr. Martens has delivered its take on the laid-back footwear by introducing the Carlson Lusso, a clean leather mule that boasts an easy on and easy off moveable strap, which means it can be worn as either a slip-on or around the ankle.
A black light-textured waxy lusso leather upper sits atop Dr. Martens’ instantly-recognisable welted yellow-stitched sole, while the brand’s archetypal logo can be found embossed on the footbed rounding things out.
Dr. Martens’ Carlson Lusso leather mule is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore, retailing at £89 (approximately $120 USD).
