3.PARADIS' FW22 "A Little Flower" Collection Asks You to Look Inwards
“Just like a flower, one can also bloom into an expanded and newer version of oneself.”
“Inner growth, self-emancipation and progress” are the pillars of 3.PARADIS‘ ongoing series of collections, and Fall/Winter 2022‘s “A Little Flower” continues to look inwards to find a spiritual way of thinking. It’s a thread that’s run through Emeric Tchatchoua‘s collections for multiple seasons now, often linked back through the iconography of freedom and soul searching, and this season the collection asks us to think like a flower: “just like a flower, one can also bloom into an expanded and newer version of oneself.”
As such, Tchatchoua gives a new life to old ideas, reflecting on the concept of rebirth in design. Symbols of resurrection, change, purity, innocence and freedom litter the collection, coming together for a range of clothes that feel familiar, only elevated once again as per the brand’s continuous growth and development.
The result includes asymmetrical tailoring, captured best with the double-breasted blazer that’s adorned with a large dove patch. This symbol dominates the FW22 range, appearing on track bottoms, briefcases, hoodies, jeans and more, while another pattern comprising the brand’s “Le Noeud Infini” monogram serves a snakeskin effect on briefcases and clutches, trousers, and full ensembles as well.
Overall, 3.PARADIS “A Little Flower” shares Tchatchoua’s growth as a designer. It’s the brand’s vision refined, harnessed by tailoring that transcends seasons and trends as per usual. Take a look at the lookbook in the gallery above, and expect the collection to launch online in the coming months.
