NBA YoungBoy Delivers New Single "Opposite," Teases 'Realer 2' Mixtape
Contradicting the earlier announcement of his six-month break.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again surprised fans with the release of a brand new cut entitled “Opposite.”
Clocking in at two-and-a-half minutes, the track hears the Baton Rouge rapper pay tribute to the loved one he’s lost while admitting that some of those around him are the “Opposite” of who he thought they were. In the caption of the single’s YouTube page, NBA YoungBoy teased the possibility of dropping his Realer 2 Mixtape tomorrow; this will mark the first release in the mixtape series since 2018.
Just last week, NBA YoungBoy celebrated the Super Bowl LVI with a track. The two songs arrive shortly after his producer Jason “Cheese” Goldberg announced that the rapper will be taking a six-month break. “PSA: A select few songs probably (maybe) will drop from now until then but Top will not be seen or heard from into his album approximately #6months from now,” Goldberg explained on Instagram. “We have some amazing songs for you thank you for everything #HealingTime #RockPeace #ForeverBro.”

Elsewhere in music, Conway The Machine confirmed that he is no longer signed to both Griselda and Shady Records.
