Looking at Jordan Brand’s plans for 2023, the Air Jordan 2 continues to play a key role in the division’s offerings. It saw its most action yet in 2022 with a countless list of collaborators that included the likes of TITAN, Shelflife, J Balvin and many more. Now, looks such as the Air Jordan 2 Craft series and “UNC to Chicago” lead the way into the new year for the silhouette.
Last month, a new take on the Air Jordan 2 Low emerged with “Cherrywood” detailing. With on-foot images surfacing this week, a closer look at the upcoming release has been provided. A white leather base found in many releases of the model is joined by shaggy suede paneling in off-white at the midfoot. Its titular “Cherrywood” appears most prominently at the heel and trim while also accenting the suede portion by partially outlining it. A matching red Wings logo lands on the tongue while a white Air Jordan 2 midsole is supported by a gray and “Cherrywood” rubber outsole to complete the colorway.
Release details for the Air Jordan 2 Low “Cherrywood” are limited as Nike has yet to share any official information. However, a summer 2023 launch is currently expected for the pair at a price of $150 USD via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide.
