Sacai’s Chitose Abe recently returned to Paris Fashion Week to present her collaboration-heavy Fall/Winter 2023 collection on the runway.

The co-ed offering saw the designer expand her horizons through hybrid manipulations and upgraded outerwear that saw deconstructed tailoring pushed to the forefront. In addition, the showcase displayed all-new collaborations alongside Nike and Carhartt WIP while presenting a toned-down range with Italian heritage imprint Moncler.

The collaborative offering promoted Moncler’s 70-year history through a modern lens, crafting upgraded classics that envision its next century-long journey. The range saw cold weather essentials made for city explorers and mountain rangers alike, through revolutionary layering that primes you for an expedition through the new world.

The duo previewed dystopian puffer jackets that seamlessly transformed into full-length dresses, while pleated skirts were adorned with safety buckles and contemporary suiting saw utilitarian straps attached to sherpa-infused outerwear and detachable anorak-style kangaroo pouches. Moncler’s classic puffers were slashed at the waist and treated with functional hoods while further deconstructed elements shined bright and rounded out the collection.

Take a closer look at the sacai x Moncler Fall/Winter 2023 collaboration in the gallery above.
