LeBron James has officially weighed in on his eldest son Bronny James varsity basketball chances.

It looks as if all signs are pointing towards Bronny playing for Oregon, however the Ducks coach, Dana Altman has not yet actually made an offer to the nation’s 33rd-ranked recruit. However, King James does not seem to think that’s an issue. In a recent conversation with The Oregonian LBJ did say that “there’s a chance” Bronny will play at Oregon next season. He added in regards to his confidence on Bronny’s choices to play at any college,

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to.

All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”

Recently, Bronny included Oregon in his top three choices alongside USC and Ohio State. His dad, the famed NBA star, knows the Oregon coach, Dana Altman, personally, through their Nike connection. He adds that Altman is aware of Bronny’s interest, “Dana knows. He knows the interest. And it’s mutual.” The James family is connected in some way or form with Bronny’s top three choices. With the Nike and Oregon relationship, it easily places the school as a top contender since Bronny was recently confirmed with a Nike endorsement deal. The Ohio State Buckeyes reportedly already offered Bronny a scholarship last September. As one of the top 30 players in the class of 2023, Bronny James is one of the most sought-after recruits for the next college season.

In other sports news, Snoop Dogg and Pete Davidson are named 2023 NFL Pro Bowl captains.
