Skepta to Perform DJ Set Alongside The Martinez Brothers in London Next Month
Skepta is due to “Shutdown” The Beams venue in East London on December 17.
Skepta has just announced that he will be playing another DJ set, but this time he will be spinning his records next to The Martinez Brothers.
The Boy Better Know grime star has been keeping busy as of late. Recently, Skep launched his Big Smoke corporation with PUMA, made his artistic debut with a painting in collaboration with Sotherby’s, and he has also been jumping on the occasional remix with the likes of K Trap (“Warm”) and fellow BBK member, Frisco (“Bad and Clean”).
Earlier this year, SK made his DJ debut in honor of his late friend Virgil Abloh and headlined a star-studded line-up of DJs at Circo Loco in Ibiza’s DC10. And while the Tottenham-raised rhymer recently announced that he is intending on retiring from music, Skepta is now stepping behind the decks again as he intends expand on his multifaceted global profile.

Now, to close out the year in style, Skepta is playing at London’s new electronic music venue, The Beams, along side the Martinez Brothers. The Beams opened for Fall/Winter 2022 after the news surfaced that the Printworks club would be closing its doors, but the venue will now be staying open for the final seasonal run for Spring/Summer 2023 and The Beams is its official sister venue.
Skepta’s performance is due to take place in East London on December 17 and you’ll be able to fight for tickets when they go on general sale on November 19.
