Goodsmile Company Crafts a 'Chainsaw Man' Figure
Featuring protagonist Denji in devil form.
Following the breakout success of its anime premiere earlier last month, Chainsaw Man is now receiving a new collectible figure that doesn’t threaten to break the bank courtesy of Goodsmile Company. Arriving as part of Goodsmile’s POP UP PARADE collection, a series of accessible figures standing around 18 cm (7 inches) in height depicting a vast range of characters from popular shows and games, the new collectible features protagonist Denji in full Chainsaw Man form.
Dressed in Demon Hunter attire, saws are seen jutting out from both arms and his bright red motorhead. The figure is sculpted by Kurosawatsu with paintwork by Yotaro Taniguchi.
For those that have yet to catch the show, below is an official synopsis:
The world is one ravaged by Devils, otherworldly monsters who feed on human fear. Despite their antagonistic nature, humans can actually form alliances with these Devils and gain powers of their own. The protagonist, a downtrodden young man named Denji, works to clear his father’s massive debt to the yakuza.
Pre-orders are now open via the Goodsmile website priced at ¥4,800 JPY ($33 USD). Chainsaw Man is now streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and other platforms with episodes airing in Japan every Wednesday.
