New Balance Decks the 2002R in a Retro "Metallic Silver/Red" Colorway

The 2002R is a staple silhouette in New Balance‘s roster, and to keep things fresh, the sportswear label has just dropped the retro-inspired pair in “Metallic Silver/Red.”
After appearing in various guises designed under the creative lens of Salehe Bembury, as well as in collaborative takes from BAPE, AURALEE, and The Basement, New Balance continues to update the 2002R itself. As previous standout colorways have shown, its general release pairs are sure sell-outs, and this “Metallic Silver/Red” iteration should be no exception.
Mesh underpins the upper before being overlayed with “Metallic Silver” and gray leather panels, while red mesh decorates the mid-panel alongside more red details on the heel surrounding the “NB” stamp, on the outsole, and on the toe and top eyelet. Proprietary Stability Web and N-durance technology can be found embedded into the sole unit alongside N-ERGY tech, most of which is branded on the pair, while a 2002R stamp can be found on the lateral rear-quarter.
