New Balance Drops Second Colorway of Latest XC-72 Sneaker
Arriving in stealthy gray hues.

Following the launch of the “Bone/Multi” colorway last week, New Balance returns with the latest addition to its retro futurism-inspired XC-72 sneaker for its Shifted collection series.
Offering a modern interpretation of retro-runner silhouettes, this sneaker fuses the design cues from the XC15, 375 and 620 models with nostalgic details such as its square toe inspired by 1970s concept cars.
As well as its signature mix of suede and mesh construction, this drop sees the XC-72 arrive in stealthy gray, black and white hues. The iconic “N” logo adopts a black color on the lateral side contrasting with the medial side’s beige. Elsewhere, the rubber outer sole is split with black and gray on either side with a white divider extending to the toe box.
For its accompanying campaign, New Balance taps Kuwait’s Del.Ten, co-founder of OTB (Out The Box) — a creative content creation agency to highlight the sneaker’s bold details.
The New Balance XC-72 is slated to launch at the brand’s Middle East stores and select retailers on September 12.
