Drake and Giannis Have a Collaborative 'Certified Lover Boy' Nike Tee on the Way
Sporting a cheeky “I Need a Freak” spell out on the back.
The roll out of Drake‘s highly-anticipated Certified Lover Boy album has been quite entertaining to watch. Just in the last week, the Toronto-bred rapper sent social media into a frenzy after revealing his Damien Hirst-inspired album cover art that sported emoji-like figures of 12 pregnant women, plastered billboards in various major cities across the US to tease the record’s featured artists and even previewed upcoming ‘CLB‘ Nike merch. The latter — after being shown off in the form of floral Swoosh-adorned black tees — is now growing, this time as a collaborative piece with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Together, Drake and the reigning NBA champion have partnered up on what appears to be a new Nike-made tee in black. On the back side, the words “I Need A Freak” are written out, and the word “Freak” shows face in the format of Antetokounmpo’s signature logo with the Swoosh. Towards the bottom of the garment, an arched Certified Lover Boy logo is spelled out in angelic font.
It’s still unclear if the OVO head hauncho and the Bucks‘ superstar have other pieces in the works, but given that the album is slated to drop on September 3, more joint merch could be in order.
