Celebrating living and loving freely.

FACCIES has just delivered its Fall/Winter 2021 collection lookbook and it’s all about nature.

As designer Makoto Kimura comments, he wished to channel the “natural powers” of the earth for this collection — from the mountains, rivers, and the sea. Reflecting back on a pre-internet era, when the world was more closed off and information traveled slow, the collection takes a relaxed stance on traditional silhouettes while being imbued with hues inspired by powerful natural elements like oceans, deserts, forests, and mountains.

Cowboy shirts, flannels, parkas, beefy sweatshirts, and denim all take another step deeper into Kimura’s ethos as he explains that “Nature” is also joined by humankind in which desires like sex and temperament are all part of human nature. FACCIES’ notion of living freely and loving freely has been revisited once again as the theme has manifested itself in such details as tassel fringe accents, puffy sleeves, exaggerated openings, and colorful patterns. Check out the brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection lookbook above.

In other fashion news, the Louis Vuitton Fall 2021 capsule collection is an ode to the archived marque L. Vuitton Dépoée.
