IKEA Is Hosting Its First 24-Hour Virtual Festival
Virgil Abloh, Masego, Ilse Crawford and Paul Svensson will all be making guest appearances.

IKEA has just announced its first-ever 24-hour virtual festival.
Celebrating all things IKEA, the event will be broken down into numerous segments. “My Home Turf” will feature a number of artists and musicians who’ll take you on a journey through their cities and neighborhoods, followed by performances during “Home Concerts.” “Home Cooking” and “Home Visits” will then showcase a series of kitchen setups and home designs across the globe, with “IKEA Museum” bringing audiences back through the decades to revisit some of the Swedish icon’s most celebrated designs. The event will be rounded out with “IKEA News,” an opportunity to meet those at the company and various collaborators.
Joining the festivities will be a whole host of personalities including fashion designer and IKEA’s collaboration partner Virgil Abloh, famed chefs Pasta Queen and Paul Svensson, renowned designer Ilse Crawford, and musical talents MØ, Kanis, NIKI and Masego.
For those interested, the first-ever IKEA Festival will start at 9 a.m. EDT on September 16. You can tune in over on the event’s website.
Elsewhere in design, Pirelli has joined Montblanc for a limited-edition rubber-clad Meisterstück.
