Featuring a bold color scheme, a unique material composition and more.
UNDEFEATED and Nike‘s collaborative “Dunk vs AF-1” pack has already seen a dashing duo of double-headed releases — first a Dunk and Air Force 1 that swapped color schemes, then the early ’00s-inspired “5 On It” pack — and with a third set of drops on the horizon we now have a look at yet another collaborative Air Force 1. Much like its “5 On It” predecessor, this Air Force 1 uses bright colors and compelling materials, but unlike the “5 On It,” asymmetrical colorblocking is introduced into the mix.
Three main materials take up residence on the upper: blue croc leather, rough yellow textile and smooth white leather. The blue croc is used uniformly on the mudguards, eyestays and heels, while the other two materials supply a yin and yang of contrast: on the lateral side a white leather Swoosh sits atop a yellow textile quarter, on the medial side this placement is reversed. Further detail is served up by a white leather heel tab, exposed foam construction on the tongue, “aged,” yellowed midsoles and UNDEFEATED “Five Strike” hits on the lateral heel and the tongue tag.
An official release date for this UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Force 1 “Dunk vs AF-1” has yet to be announced. However it’ll likely release in the coming weeks, potentially besides a black suede Dunk Low.
